FAQ 3: How does TriQuint know GaAs reliability is good?

Reliability is known to be good because it's been tested. Throughout the history of TriQuint, over 100 million device hours have been accumulated at accelerated stress conditions. Typically, several thousand devices are aged and monitored weekly using several different types of stresses. It is felt that TriQuint has one of the largest GaAs device reliability data bases in the world, and the information is sufficient to measure the reliability of GaAs technology.
