TriQuint has maintained a strong emphasis on quality & reliability.
Because gallium arsenide (GaAs) technology will always be "new" relative
to mainstream silicon, TriQuint has oriented its Quality and
Reliability Group toward establishing systems that provide
information for pro-active corrective and preventative improvements.
These Quality Systems are described in the TriQuint Quality Manual
(request a copy).
Implementation of quality systems has allowed TriQuint to become
registered to ISO 9001:2000. Some of the differences between
gallium arsenide and silicon devices lead to specific advantages for the TriQuint
technology - especially in terms of reliability. TriQuint has published numerous
articles on this and related subjects, all of which are available here.
