TriQuint has been a recognized world leader in GaAs MMIC power amplifiers since the invention and initial development of the MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) in the '60s and '70s. Our current products in MesFET, pHEMT, HFET, PIN and HBT device technologies cover cellular telephone to millimeter-wave frequencies. One type of system served by TriQuint products is phased-array radar used on advanced aircraft platforms such as the YF22 pictured above. Current products provide from 1 to 20 W of solid-state output power and our process and design engineers are continually striving for even higher levels of performance and reduced cost.
