TriQuint played a pivotal role by supplying power amplifier (PA) MMICs to the Mars Pathfinder program. Our parts were used in the microwave communications links. The performance and long-life of TriQuint chips allowed TV pictures and other data to be transmitted back to the earth from the surface of Mars.
